We have 8 incredible professional award winning musicians from Skaneateles and the surrounding area. From vocalists to string soloists, you don't want to miss it!!!

This is a FREE concert with a suggested donation of $20. We are working in collaboration with the Skaneateles Education Foundation and trying to fundraise for the Skaneateles Music Boosters as well as our upcoming Season in late June 2025!

Yellow is my favorite color 🟡 It makes me feel like smiling, running around and laughing. It reminds me that life isn't so serious and sometimes it's okay to bask in the sun and remember that we are all just primates floating around on a rock in space, playing dress up and making noises at one another just like all the other animals.

Happy birthday to my beautiful partner Natalie 😘 This year was a wild one: you moved out here to Los Angeles in late July last year and we had only 1 week to find an apartment and move in. Little did we know that was really just the beginning of a crazy journey. Not only did you just* get your license, but u got your first car and started finding your place in the music industry teaching, performing and accompanying (and vocal coaching?!? What can't u do?!) and FINALLY, just this summer, you landed the most amazing position at LAVC doing what you love and even out-auditioned the pianist from Wicked (sorry dude). So although it has been an absolute roller coaster career-wise, you've placed your trust in me that I'll always have ur back. And I know you'll always have mine, so there's no other person that deserves my love and support like you do! Love you Nat and three cheers for making it around the sun one more time 🎉😎🌞

Too many awesome monitors to choose from! But I walked away ranking the Neumann KH310s at the top of my list 😯 - they had a truly ideal flat and full frequency response that sounded SO natural and precise to me. Absolutely zero distortion.

Surprises take aways:
-Telegraph's Gorilla monitors were a lovely surprise even though they are new to the scene. Slightly brighter than Neumann, but nice and flat.
-Genelec 8361s were SOOO bright even tho they were massive monitors (this worked in their favor for Atmos though). Ironically the smaller 8030s had more lows with the default tuning.
-ATC SCM25A was much more clinical and precise in the mid highs than I thought they would be, but I still loved them
-Focals sound saturated to me... Idk why, maybe a push in the upper mids?
-Adam S3Hs had the perfect clinical midrange... I guess that's not surprising

I'm extremely excited to announce this classical music festival I have been organizing with my talented colleagues, @robert_luke_benedict Luke Benedict, @collinhollowayguitar Collin Holloway, and Natalie Pang that will be taking place in my hometown Skaneateles, NY in early July!

We have created a unique classical music festival that showcases the talent and passion of emerging classical artists from across the United States and Canada.

We started this festival in 2022 with a simple vision: to create an intimate and immersive concert-going experience that connects emerging artists and classical music loving audiences in a meaningful way. We wanted to offer a platform for up-and-coming musicians and ensembles to share their artistry, creativity, and vision with a supportive and enthusiastic community. We also wanted to celebrate the diversity and richness of classical music, from baroque to contemporary, from solo to chamber, from traditional to experimental.

Since our first concert, Off The Dock has grown into a 1 week concert series featuring numerous talented and award winning ensembles and soloists from Eastman School of Music, Juilliard School of Music, Northwestern University Bienen School of Music, Maryland Opera Studio, Oberlin Conservatory, and the Berklee College of Music. We will be hosting 7 different concerts with a variety of genres and styles this year in several venues across Skaneateles, NY (in the Fingerlakes Region of NY) this July 2023. We will also be collaborating with local organizations, schools, and businesses to bring our music to new audiences and spaces.

We have started a Go Fund Me to raise money for the event! Please consider donating, every donation makes a difference, big or small. I will post a link in my Instagram story and bio!

Hi friends! So happy to announce the release of the @thepixelplayhouse mashup of SIX and the "Cell Block Tango" from Chicago that we candidly call "The Six Block Tango". It was an awesome shoot, an awesome day of vocal production, and then several epic days of transcribing the original score by ear and remaking it from scratch. Also mixing/mastering cause ya know I can't not do that! Let's just say, a LOT of work went into this, so I hope you enjoy:)

Been more than a year with my JD-XA and it's been my secret sauce on so many pieces of music. Always adds depth and warmth and covers everything from bass to leads/pads. It's quite a unique beast and I'm certain that it's gonna be a collectors item one day. Mostly because it's Roland's last real Analog synth, but also cause the weird flexibility it gets from an additional digital engine that can interact with and modify the analog engine/filters. @rolandglobal

Great way to celebrate my 26th birthday:)

Lots of great experiences and amazing opportunities have come up this month, but maybe two months ago I felt completely lost as to what my next steps were going to be and the pressure was on cause I am turning 26 in about 2 weeks. There was this voice inside my head saying "WHY HAVEN'T YOU FIGURED IT OUT YET!?" I was waking up every day double guessing my every idea, but with the continued support of my family and friends, things are starting to become clearer and clearer every day, I've learned to be more patient than ever and continue to take each day at a time. During this month I've officially started Joe Hagen Music LLC for music producing, mixing/mastering, composing, string recording etc. I'm extremely proud of that, and although my path still remains open ended, starting this business solidified and reenergized my deep dedication to the craft of music and the expression of my creativity... It has lead me here and it will lead me so so far, it means everything to me to have your support, love and faith in my musical journey. Thank u to everyone who has been there for me, connecting with me, working with me, exploring music, giving me advice, telling me I am valuable and encouraging me. We're only getting started😎
